Each goblet is blown by mouth and assembled in three parts — bowl, stem and foot — joined by hand while all three are still molten. The murrina tumblers go further still: hundreds of hand-cut glass flowers are laid out, fused into a sheet, and only then blown into shape, so the pattern stretches with the curve.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBecause every piece is shaped individually rather than pressed, no two are precisely the same height.
