Time, Made in Murano
In Venice, time has never quite kept the same pace as everywhere else — measured less by the clock tower's bells than by the tide beneath the bridges, and by a furnace that has not gone properly cold in seven centuries. This watch carries something of that idea onto the wrist: a ring of hand-fused murrine, each tiny flower drawn from molten glass by a Murano master, circling a face that keeps very ordinary time in a distinctly Venetian way.
The dial surround of this 35mm watch is set with genuine Murano murrine — slices of coloured glass cane, hand-fused and arranged into a mosaic of tiny florals using the traditional lavorazione a Murrina technique. The nickel-free chromed case (compliant with EU directive 94/27/CEE) pairs with a genuine red leather strap and a reliable Seiko quartz movement.
Because every piece is handmade, small natural variations in the murrine's colour, shape and pattern are part of its character — no two watches are ever quite identical.
