Day after day I discovered not only the beauty of handmade glass, but the dedication, the passion and the centuries of tradition behind every single piece. What began as a job soon became a genuine calling — and the more I learned, the more I understood that authentic Murano glass is far more than a luxury object. It is a living piece of Italian history.
Where It All Began
Working so closely with authentic Murano creations allowed me to see something most people never do. Behind every vase, every sculpture, every chandelier stands a master artisan who has spent decades perfecting techniques passed down through generations.
But I also saw another reality. The market is increasingly flooded with mass-produced imitations sold as ‘Murano glass’, making it ever harder for people to recognise true craftsmanship. I wanted to change that.
