Goblets & Glasses
Venetian drinking glasses have set the European standard for fine stemware since the 15th century, when Murano's cristallo — glass so clear it was named for rock crystal — first made truly transparent tableware possible. Some pieces in this collection, like our murrina tumblers, are cut from fused canes of patterned glass (murrine) rather than blown, so no two glasses in a set are ever patterned quite alike — see our guide to Murano glass techniques for more.
