A Venetian Sky in Glass
A pair of small glasses meant for grappa or liquore at the end of a Venetian meal, banded in the pale blue of the lagoon at first light. Small enough to fit in one hand, substantial enough to feel like a real piece of glasswork.
Each pair is shaped over an open flame using murrina lume, a Murano technique in which thin rods of coloured glass are wound and fused by hand around a clear glass core — no two glasses ever come out with quite the same pattern of colour. Delivered as a set of two in a protective gift box, with a certificate of authenticity.
