Every order dispatched from our workshop is covered by comprehensive transit insurance from the moment it leaves Murano to the moment it arrives at your door.

The insured value equals the full retail price paid — not a depreciated estimate.

What the Policy Covers

Our shipping insurance covers loss and damage in transit — including breakage, theft, and non-delivery due to carrier failure.

In the event of a claim, we manage the entire process on your behalf. You will never be required to deal with the carrier or insurer directly.

Replacement or refund is arranged within 5–7 working days of the claim being approved.

Carrier Insurance

Basic coverage provided by the carrier. Limited liability, often capped at a fraction of the item's value. Claims handled by the carrier with no guarantee of outcome.

Delivery Times

All times are estimated business days from dispatch. Express options are available at checkout.

DAMAGE CLAIMS

If Something Goes Wrong

Despite exceptional packing and insurance, transit damage can occasionally occur. If your piece arrives damaged, act immediately.

Document Everything

Before removing any packaging, photograph and record the following:

  • The outer shipping box (all sides)
  • The inner protective packaging
  • The artwork itself
  • Any visible damage to artwork or packaging
  • The shipping label and any courier documentation
Do not discard any packaging. The insurer requires original materials to process the claim.

Contact Us Within 24 Hours

Email us at the address below within 24 hours of delivery with:

• Your order number

• All photographs taken in Step 1

We Take Over

Once we receive your email, we manage the entire insurance claim. You will not need to contact the carrier or insurer directly at any point.

Resolution

Claims are typically resolved within 5–7 working days of approval.

You will receive either a full replacement or a complete refund — whichever you prefer.

Keep the Packaging

Please retain all original packaging until the claim is fully resolved. Disposal of packaging before resolution may invalidate the insurance claim.

Important Shipping Information

Customs duties, import taxes and local fees may apply to orders shipped outside the European Union. These charges are the sole responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our shipping rates.

We are unable to mark shipments as 'gifts' or under-declare values, as this is a legal requirement under international customs regulations.
