Flute — Murano Glass Vase
Some Murano forms are built for a table. Flute is built for a room. Drawn up to seventy or eighty centimetres in a single continuous gesture, it belongs to the oldest instinct in glassblowing — pull the molten gather higher and thinner until gravity itself becomes part of the shape.
The colour is layered while the glass is still soft, warm amber deepening to burnt orange along the body, so no two flutes fade the same way. Grouped in twos or threes on a console or beside a staircase, they read less like vases and more like flame held still.
