Giotto — Murano Glass Vase
Named for the painter who first learned to make gold leaf glow on a flat panel, Giotto does the same trick in three dimensions. Real gold leaf is laid into the glass before it is blown into a ribbed, optic-cut sphere, so the metal catches and breaks across the facets rather than sitting as a single flat sheet.
Three sizes nest together naturally, largest at the back of a shelf and smallest brought forward.
