Brina — Murano Glass Vase
Brina is the Italian word for morning frost — the fleeting veil that settles over Venice in the first light of winter. This vase captures that instant in glass: a slender teardrop silhouette, mouth-blown on the island of Murano and finished with a soft, satin-like sheen that seems to hold the light rather than reflect it.
Rising up to seventy centimetres, Brina is a sculptural statement piece — commanding on a console or entrance table, quietly magnetic on a mantelpiece. Each vase is shaped over the flame without moulds, by hands that have inherited seven centuries of Venetian glassmaking, which is why no two pieces are ever exactly alike. Choose from three tones — deep Onyx, luminous Peridot shading into amber, and warm Champagne — in three sizes, alone or as a sculptural family.
