Your piece is mouth-blown and finished by hand especially for you by our master artisan — that's why it takes around 2 weeks, instead of coming from a mass-produced stock.
As every piece is mouth-blown and finished entirely by hand, slight variations in colour, size and form from the photographs are natural — and make your piece truly one of a kind.

Horse — Murano Glass Sculpture
The four bronze horses above the door of San Marco were looted from Constantinople in 1204 and have watched over Venice ever since — the most famous horses in Europe, standing in the most famous square. Murano has been sculpting horses in their shadow for eight centuries.
Ours come rearing, galloping, grazing, or prancing at forty-seven centimetres — the tallest and hardest of the group, because every one of those legs has to be drawn out and set while the glass is still soft enough to move and stiff enough to stand. Available in clear glass or wrapped in real gold leaf.
Sculpted by hand on the island of Murano, Venice by masters heir to seven centuries of glassmaking. Explore our full Murano glass animal sculptures or find the perfect gift. Each piece arrives with a certificate of authenticity and fully insured worldwide shipping. Questions? Get in touch.
